Sandro Lobalzo
Sandro Lobalzo was born in 1946 in Albenga, Italy. He studied art at the Artistic Lyceum in Turin, Italy and at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts.
Favoring the acrylic and the watercolor techniques, in which he excels, Lobalzo portrays in his paintings daily scenes inside and outside the home. Through a play of light and shadows, he creates a sense of lightness and aerial enchantment, so that real objects and scenes acquire an imaginary drearm like quality.
Lobalzo has participated in numerous one-man and group exhibitions with prestigious art galleries and institutions in Europe.
