Vinicio Perugia was born in 1947 in Fabriano, Italy where he acquired the first artistic skills from his father, Gilberto Perugia. He developed a professional activity under the tutelage of Fernando Eandi and perfected his etching technique under Giorgio Roggino. |
His work has been exhibited since 1982, receiving numerous accolades and prizes and can be found in permanent collections at the Museum of Modern Art in Leghorn, at the "Musum Diocesiano" in Jesi, as well as at leading galleries in Italy. |
Perugia's paintings reflect his love for nature, which is portrayed at its timeless aspect. His is a vision of a world that shows no signs of the advance of technology, no signs of past wars, alliances and betrayals, no signs of history. A vision that sees the possibility of a world where nature could triumph. |
